The Women’s Tour is the most prestigious cycling women’s event globally.  Stage three of the race is heading for Derbyshire on Friday 17 June which will see contestants race from Ashbourne to Chesterfield.

Labour Councillors have been integral in securing a leg of the race to pass through our wonderful county.  Along this exciting sporting event there will be an opportunity for our local businesses to get their name associated with the race which will be broadcast to thousands.

In a major coup for Derbyshire, the race will attract Global TV coverage and local businesses will have the opportunity for their logo to appear at the start and end of the race.

Labour Councillor Dean Collins, Cabinet Member for Highways, said: “We are thrilled to be welcoming the Women’s Tour to Derbyshire which will be sure to attract many people from across the country to our county.

“We want to extend the opportunity for local businesses to be advertised in association with the event and make the most of the exciting opportunity.”

If you are a local business who is interested in this opportunity, feel free to contact your Labour Councillors.
